Our Functional & Integrative Evaluation is for adults who sense that something deeper than "chemical imbalance" may be driving their mental health symptoms. Instead of treating mood, anxiety, or focus issues in isolation, we look at the interconnected systems that influence your brain and body.
During this extended telehealth visit, we review your mental health and medical history, then go further into areas that are often overlooked: gut health and digestion, hormonal shifts, sleep quality, blood sugar swings, chronic pain, immune issues, and long‑term stress exposure. We also discuss nutrition patterns, movement, work demands, and environmental factors that may be wearing on your nervous system.
When clinically appropriate, we may recommend biomarker testing using at‑home or lab‑based kits. These can help us evaluate things like hormonal balance, inflammation markers, nutrient levels, and other clues that might explain why you feel anxious, depressed, wired‑but‑tired, or foggy despite "normal" labs.
At the end of the evaluation, we co‑create a practical plan that may include targeted lifestyle shifts, nutritional support, supplements, therapy, stress‑reduction strategies, and, when needed, medication. You will leave with a clearer understanding of potential root causes and specific next steps - not a generic handout.
Ongoing Functional Follow‑up visits are available to track how your body and mind respond over time. In these sessions, we review symptom changes, adjust supplement and lifestyle strategies, interpret any follow‑up labs together in plain language, and refine the plan so it stays realistic and sustainable.
